SCC is accepting applications for the following position(s):

GENERAL LABORER – FULL TIME

Experience in Civil Construction,

including water, sewer, drainage and road construction. Preferred but not limited to.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATORS – FULL TIME

Experience operating excavator, front-end loader, motor grader, backhoe and dozer required.

​

​

SKILLED PIPE LAYER – FULL TIME

Experience in installing water, sewer, drainage pipe and precast structures required.

Should be familiar with trench boxes, lift stations, etc.

​

​

CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR- FULL TIME

Experience in estimating work for particular public and private construction projects by

estimating labor, material, equipment and time requirements in order to be able to compute

the overall cost of a project. 

​

PIPE LAYER HELPER – FULL TIME

Experience with underground utility construction preferred but not required.

Will assist with installation of water, sewer, and drainage systems, including preparing pipe,

setting structures, assisting skilled pipe layers, and maintaining the work area.

Must be willing to learn and work as part of a utility crew.

​

​

CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN – FULL TIME

Experience supervising civil construction and underground utility crews required.

Must have knowledge of water, sewer, drainage, excavation, grading, and sitework operations.

Responsible for coordinating crews, equipment, materials, daily production, job-site safety,

and communication with project management.

​

​

CDL DRIVER / EQUIPMENT TRANSPORT – FULL TIME

Valid CDL and experience hauling construction equipment required.

Must have experience safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading heavy equipment using

lowboy or equipment trailers.Experience hauling materials, operating dump trailers, and assisting

with equipment moves preferred.

DUMP TRUCK DRIVER – FULL TIME

Valid CDL required.

Experience operating dump trucks and hauling dirt, aggregate, asphalt, construction

materials, and debris preferred.Must maintain safe driving practices and perform required

pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

​

​

PROJECT MANAGER – FULL TIME

Experience managing civil construction projects preferred.

Responsible for coordinating projects from startup through completion, including scheduling,

subcontractors, vendors, materials, equipment, project documentation, change orders, and

communication with owners and engineers.Experience with underground utility and sitework

projects strongly preferred.

CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT – FULL TIME

Experience overseeing civil construction projects and field operations required.

Responsible for coordinating crews, subcontractors, equipment, schedules, production, quality,

and job-site safety.Must have strong knowledge of civil construction practices and the ability to

coordinate work with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and other contractors.

​

CONSTRUCTION MECHANIC / SERVICE

TECHNICIAN – FULL TIME

Experience servicing and repairing heavy construction equipment, trucks, trailers, and small

equipment preferred.Responsibilities may include preventative maintenance, inspections,

troubleshooting, repairs, fueling, greasing, and supporting equipment in the field.

SAFETY MANAGER / SAFETY COORDINATOR –

FULL TIME

Construction safety experience preferred.Responsible for helping maintain company safety

policies, conducting job-site safety inspections, assisting with employee training, maintaining

required documentation, and promoting safe work practices throughout company operations.

​​​

​

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO) – FULL TIME

Experience in financial management, accounting, and business operations required.

Construction industry experience strongly preferred. Responsible for overseeing the financial

operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial

reporting, job costing, accounts payable and receivable oversight, payroll oversight, and coordination

with outside accountants and financial institutions.Must be able to monitor project profitability,

company expenses, equipment and overhead costs, and overall financial performance.Experience

with construction accounting, QuickBooks, bonding, insurance, banking, and financial reporting

preferred.Must possess strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and communication skills and

be able to work closely with company ownership and management to support financial planning

and business growth.

OFFICE / ADMINISTRATIVE PERSONNEL – FULL TIME

Experience working in a construction office environment preferred but not required.

Must be organized, dependable, professional, and able to handle multiple responsibilities in a

fast-paced environment.Duties may include answering phones and emails, filing, data entry,

maintaining employee and project records, assisting with invoices, purchase orders, subcontractor

and vendor documentation, and providing general administrative support.

Experience with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks preferred.

PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR / PROJECT COORDINATOR

– FULL TIME

Construction office or project coordination experience preferred.

Responsible for assisting project managers and field personnel with project documentation,

submittals, purchase orders, change orders, contracts, scheduling, correspondence, and

maintaining project files.Must have strong organizational and communication skills and be

comfortablecommunicating with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.

​

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE / ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE

– FULL TIME

Accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.Responsibilities may include entering vendor

bills, processing invoices, tracking accounts payable and receivable, reconciling statements,

maintaining vendor records, assisting with job costing, and preparing documentation for

management and accounting personnel.QuickBooks experience strongly preferred.

HUMAN RESOURCES / PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR

– FULL TIME

Experience with payroll, human resources, or construction administration preferred.

Responsibilities may include employee onboarding, payroll processing, time records,

benefits administration, personnel files, PTO tracking, workers' compensation documentation,

certified payroll, and maintaining employee licenses and certifications.

QuickBooks Payroll experience preferred.

BID / ESTIMATING ADMINISTRATOR – FULL TIME

Experience in construction administration or bidding preferred.

Responsible for assisting with bid invitations, subcontractor and vendor solicitations, bid

documents, proposals, addenda, bid bonds, subcontractor quotes, and maintaining bid files.

Must be highly organized and able to work within strict bid deadlines.

​

​

RECEPTIONIST / OFFICE ASSISTANT 

Administrative experience preferred but not required.

Responsible for answering and directing phone calls, greeting visitors, handling emails,

scanning and filing documents, data entry, maintaining office records, and assisting

management and other office personnel as needed.Must have good communication skills,

attention to detail, and basic computer knowledge.
